CBSO > CBSO and previous editionsThe Biocatalysis Club for Organic Synthesis (CBSO)
The Biocatalysis Club for Organic Synthesis (CBSO) is a French network created in 1982, that gathers around twenty laboratories and industries created in 1982. It is governed by an association under the French law of 1901 and its vocation is to work towards a better visibility of Biocatalysis by ensuring the following missions
The CBSO is a network of multidisciplinary skills in organic and analytical chemistry, microbiology, protein and metabolic engineering, process engineering, bioinformatics and molecular modelling.
The CBSO laboratories are developing innovative technologies, in line with the principles of Green Chemistry, focusing on enzymes used as biocatalysts for the synthesis of organic molecules.
Since its creation, CBSO has regularly organised symposia to exchange recent advances in the field of biocatalysis and to create partnerships between academic and industrial players.
